  3. VidSwitch 1.4 - If you frequently change your video resolution
  4. you need VidSwitch! VidSwitch learns the settings for your
  5. various drivers and allows a quick change from one resolution
  6. to another. Much simpler and quicker than using Windows setup!
  7. Shareware, $10. Requires VBRUN300.DLL not included.

  26. Run INSTALL.EXE. All distribution files will be copied to the directory of your choice 
  27. (.VBX and .DLL files will be placed in your Windows/System directory).

  30. **UPGRADING**
  31.  
  32. If you are upgrading from an older version, run the new version and delete all recorded video
  33. modes. Then use Windows SETUP to switch to another mode. You may now go through the process 
  34. of re-recording your video modes in VidSwitch. This process is necessary due to a bug in 
  35. older versions that prevented the correct font information from being written to 
  36. WIN.INI and sometimes resulted in incorrect font proportions.

  39. BUGS, INCOMPATIBILITY
  40.  
  41. VidSwitch has been tested with all standard Windows video drivers. We cannot
  42. guarantee compatibility with every video driver in circulation. If VidSwitch
  43. causes problems with your display, simply reboot your machine and go to your
  44. Windows directory in DOS and type SETUP. You can then change back to the previous
  45. video driver that was current before you used VidSwitch. PLEASE let us know if 
  46. you have any problems and what type of driver you have so that we can update 
  47. VidSwitch as needed. The following driver has been found to be incompatible with 
  48. VidSwitch:

  55. This program may be freely distributed by any BBS or Shareware distributor
  56. as long as all files listed above remain a part of the archive. Please

  61. VidSwitch is Shareware. If you find it useful please register it.
  62. Use the order Option on the Help menu to print an order form.
